WHERE IT IS NEEDED MOST

Bakone Consulting and Compliance services is a division of BOSMO, a holding company – BOSMO Holdings. BOSMO Holdings is primarily a sales and transactional facilitator in the mining and related sectors. Mining companies and communities around the mines often quarrel over right to land, local labour involvement, small business development and royalties, amongst other things.

FACILITATION

Facilitates the land claim process, and expedites settlement of outstanding claims

Ensures established community structures adhere and comply with legislation.

TRAINING

Provides Training and skills development; Full qualifications, registered skills programmes and single unit standards

ROLE PLAYERS

On behalf of land claimants, lodge with the Commission on Restitution of Land Rights a written request for the return of land, rights in land and/or other equitable redress in the prescribed manner; and

Ensure established community structures adhere and comply with legislation in respect of keeping and maintaining,

· Active committees and sub-committees;

· Up-to-date member lists;

· Annual General Meetings called and held in a prescribed manner;

· Audited Financial Statements prepared and presented annually; and

· Record of land transactions, including leases, etc.

Expedite settlement of outstanding claims by

· Submitting Applications to obtain status reports from the Commission on Restitution of Rights in Land as per Section 6(1)(c) of the Land Restitution Act, Act 22 of 1994, as amended;

· Develop action plans with project officers; and

· Monitor the implementation of the agreed plans.

Make recommendations or give advice to the Minister regarding the most appropriate form of alternative redress, if any, for those claimants who do not qualify for the restitution of rights in land in terms of the Act.

A fully accredited training provider in various sectors, including agriculture and construction, amongst others, Progressive School of Business and Engineering provide land restitution beneficiaries with

· Training and skills development; and

· Full qualifications, registered skills programmes and single unit standards;

For the purpose of accreditation, extension of scope and/or implementation of training, we provide emerging providers with qualified, registered and experienced facilitators, assessors and moderators.

We have the capacity to train any number of candidates per programme in any province within the Republic of South Africa and beyond. In order to maintain this capacity, Progressive School of Business and Engineering has partnerships with various other skills development providers in all the provinces.
